could you try something like anhydrol forte on them? Might be no harm to ask a pharmacist about it.

Read something recently in a magazine that works for sweaty feet - which is to wipe surgical spirits onto them and let it dry. Might work for hands as well!

    Thanks for the tips ladies.

Actually Sinall, I do use surgical spirits on my feet, but I wasn't sure if it would be safe for hands though

Sorry for cutting across a ladies fourum.

I use Dricol its great one that really works well.

Its roll on but trust me results are excellent. I Problem with under arm sweating and when use it it goes and can last upto 2 weeks.

Use it before you go to bed. Its is bit stingy though so make sure your hands have no rashes etc otheriwse it will hurt (So advise stay away in that case).

All Boots stores I been too have them

    Hope this helps

Yes that could work Sinall - will give it a go..

No worries Adrian - I have tried Dricol and am allergic to it unfortunately.

What allergic reaction do you get to Driclor Lady W? If it is severe itching and stinging, well this is normal.... uncomfortable, but normal. Do NOT use it after shaving underarms. (I know we are talking about palms here, but for others...) I found that when I used it, and IMMEDIATELY covered my underarms with talcum powder, the itch was gone in minutes.

For years I suffered with excessive perspiration under arms, and having used Driclor for three weeks ten years ago, never had a recurrence, unless I am in a really hot place, or the weather is excessively humid, but I think everyone would experience that! It is a miracle product. I was even considering surgery to excise the sweat glands at one point it was so bad. Now you can get botox injections for this, and I hear it is terrific for this problem.

I would try Driclor on palms, and after it dries immediately put on talc. See how you get on with that. But of course if your allergy is a severe form, well, surgical spirit might work.

Never heard of this Driclor stuff but I might give it a shot on my feet - they don't get smelly from the sweat but I am so prone to blisters it's not even funny anymore. I took the dog to the beach in my wellies yesterday and I wasn't wearing socks and the entire back of my heel is one giant burst blister - the other heel hasn't burst yet but oh god I can barely walk.

I've so had enough of this

Walked around all day in flip flops. I can no longer walk at all my feet are in such pain - they're basically one giant blister. FML

I must try the talcum powder! I've tried Driclor a couple of times, but the itchy burny feeling was just unbearable, I had to wash it off after about fifteen minutes each time ... I've a friend who swears by the stuff though, she reckons using it for just two weeks once a year does the job and she says it's worth the pain. I think I just have a very low pain threshold!
