I suspect that some would not do it due to self-conscious reasons about their own body - not just how others might see them.

I just thought of a reason why I would definitely never, never do this.

In my office, there are quite a lot of girls (including me) who work in fairly close conditions.

If one of us comes to work wearing a new outfit/pair of shoes/handbag, it will be commented on - "I love your outfit/pair of shoes/handbag".

And sometimes (and I hate this and refuse to get involved) the new outfit/pair of shoes/handbag will be torn apart (figuratively) as soon as the wearer is out of hearing - "Does she think that fits her/what a hideous colour/mutton trying to accessorise as lamb".

Now, whatever about clothes, my blood runs cold if I try to imagine what these people might say about a naked body!
