    Hi,
Does anybody here know if the gym in the Green Isle hotel in Clondalkin is any use?

Got a leaflet in the door the other day,€250 for the year including use of the pool.
The place is a 2 min walk from my front door so I would be much more inclined to use it,just want to know if its any good and if €250 is a reasonable price to pay.

    Thanks in advance!

just wondering has any members of the greenisle gym being contacted about this

    To all Leisure Club Members
The operator and leaseholder of the Green Isle Leisure Club has ceased
trading. He has, without warning to his staff, the hotel and the club
members removed gym equipment and is no longer operating the gym. The
leisure centre will remain closed for the immediate future, but all efforts
are being made to resolve the situation. In the coming days, should the
former operator not address his members, we will make contact with members
by the best means possible and try to answer any questions. Membership
details and contact information has not been passed or made available to the
hotel at this time, but we will be meeting with the leisure club staff as
    soon as possible.
We would like to stress that the leisure club is independent from the hotel,
and fees and contracts are not with the hotel. The leisure centre was leased
to a separate independent leisure operator, and has been for many years. We
would also like to advise that the staff of the leisure club were not aware,
and have very little information on the actions of the owners of the Green
    Isle Leisure Club.
We will endeavor to assist these staff members through this difficult time.
As mentioned above we will try to address the members and their immediate
    concern for their paid membership.
While we investigate and try to find options to the closure, we ask for your
    patience and understanding.
The Green Isle Hotel is unaffected in its operations.
    Regards
    The Green Isle Hotel
