Small Re-Sealable Bags

Argh, hate posting from work. Had the whole thread typed up and then BAM, lost my “token”.

Anyway, Firstly, sorry for starting an entire thread on this, but others might actually find the info helpful.
My problem is this, it’s handier to buy things like jerky, nuts, seeds etc in large quantities, but not so handy to keep those with you all the time. So I bought resealable bags, but they’re designed for sandwiches etc, far too big for a paltry 25 grams of peanuts or jerky.

Is there anywhere in the city centre that sells smaller ones I could use for splitting out large quantities of nuts, seeds / jerky into portion sizes?

    Thanks!

Hmm, Easons near enough to me. I'll have a look later, doubt they'll have them though?!

Im in the sticks, our local stationers is retail/wholesale. I know they do them, along with food packaging.

The only other place I can think of is somewhere that does jewellers findings (which is all packed in those bags)

Lidl eh? Right, I’ll finish up here at 5 and hit lidl before I get the bus. Cheers for that!

Off topic, but I’m hitting the guym tonight, if I bought cottage cheese in lidl, how long would it keep before I need to go refrigerating that bad boy? Would it last from say 17:20 to about 20:20 without being in the fridge? Or should I leave that and just buy it on a non gym day on my way home?

I've kept Lidl cottage cheese out of the fridge for that long and it's been fine! If you do it regularly it's worth getting a mini cool bag though. They're handy. For things like nuts, houmous etc I bought small clip lock containers in Tesco. They come in a pack of 4 and are really handy.
Haven't seen tiny zip lock bags anywhere-except when pharmacies but tablets in them-but Lidl do small freezer bags. You could just tie the top and they're cheap.

There's 2 types. Huge and medium. The mediums are grand for lunching needs- for the 5 year old with the busy schedule...

Ive done the tin foil thing too, and also got a deadly selection of tuppaware in Ikea and while back with a million different sizes, including a few teeny tiny containers perfect for handful nuts/seeds etc. Might be worth the trip out there for you if you will use them alot.

    Here they are :)
