Copying mkv files from a Mac

There's probably a simply solution but I can't figure it out!

I've a few .mkv files on my Mac I'd like to transfer on to a USB stick I can play on my Bluray player.
The Bluray player obviously can't read Mac formatted USB sticks, so I need to format the stick as FAT. Only problem then is I can't copy the file on to it as it's about 9GB big, and FAT will only take 4GB.

Anyone know of a way I can do this?

    Format the stick to NTFS

Download and Install MacFuse and NTFS-3G (two separate programs)

Then you can read/write to the drive without any problems

    Great - thanks so much!
It worked, even though it took over an hour to transfer an 8GB file to the USB stick.

No probs at all! Yeh I've found that it does take it's time with NTFS but the odd time it's fast, unusually
