Tonight, Raw is live from Toronto, Canada for a 2 hour commercial free broadcast. The guest host is former astronaut, Buzz Aldrin.

On the card so far is Miz putting his US Title on the line against Bret Hart and John Cena facing Sheamus. Afaik, This is Bret's last night with WWE

REALLY looking forward to it tonight. It being commercial free definitely helps me in deciding whether to stay up for it or not.

hopefully 3 good raws in a row

    Cant wait to see Bret

This could be a terrific show. Bret will get a tremendous reception and as King used to say about Toronto being 'bizarro world', Cena and probably some other faces will be booed heavily whilst Sheamus is likely to get a good reaction. Jericho and Edge will also be cheered big time. It will be pretty fun one would think.

I could see Danielson helping Hart win, for example the Dynasty is banned from ringside, but for them to change the match again in front of a Canadian crowd would be a screwjob bit of a cheat.

Not that They're above doing that. ;)

Yeah, Meatloaf was terrible but you also only had 14 minutes of wrestling and Maryse "beating up" a black belt martial artist with an eye rake and a kick to the knee.

But yeah, the big problem was 14 minutes of wrestling on a wrestling show.

    Crowd's poor.

I was hoping this would be a feud a few months down the line.

Dead silent. They only really came for Bret obviously.

Was thinking maybe a loss for Edge this weekend then a feud with Christian, but if they're going by the crowd it'll be vetoed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

I just think the crowd likes both these guys so it's struggling to side with one of them. I would expect them to be better later on as Toronto fans are normally a vocal bunch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

That was a nice tornado DDT yet the crowd remain silent.

Was that a Benoit reference from Christian?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Great match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

A lot better than the wrestling you usually see on Raw. This was like a Smackdown style match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Fcuking hell!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    What the hell?

Then how was Christian there? :pac:

    the fuck!?

Well that was all fairly odd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That was a bit of a let down. His entrance lasted longer than the match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Bit of a wasted trip for the Undertaker really.

Why even bother doing that Undertaker skit and these clips are stupid, give Santino some air time. I just thought Aldrin was Bobby Heenan for a sec there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Talk about blatant product placement. Reminded me of that scene from The Truman Show when your one is advertising something whilst talking to Truman.
