I would like to join some sort of a club so that it would get me out of the house one night/evening a week. Anyone any suggestions, I like the outdoors, so maybe walking…

I am 33 so I would like to join a club with people of a similar age in Dublin.

I know there are some groups that meet up and get buses to the wicklow mountains and go for hikes I've absolutely no idea where to find them though.

The thing about hillwalking clubs, is that they organise day trips at the weekend.

DO you like dancing? That would fit the bill timewise for you.

I can recommend this group http://hiking.meetup.com/302/ alright, a lot of other hiking groups have a generally older crowd but fair number of young people in this. Another similar group is Challenge Hikers.
Both of these generally walk on Sundays so not really an evening thing.

I'd love to do some hiking type activities in evenings myself, especially with long evenings now. One thing I'm looking at doing is orienteering, as I think some clubs run evening sessions, check the fixtures here.
