Chalk, liquid chalk or gloves

Just the thread states which would you recommend, chalk, liquid chalk or gloves. I find when I am training with my KB I am afraid that it will fly out my hand due to a poor grip. The same happens with my deadlifts. Is there any difference in performance of liquid chalk versus chalk. Plus where do you buy it.

No to gloves. You can get chalk in the camping/outdoor shops. Don't what liquid is like but chalk makes a massive difference.

    Yeah no worries.

    53 Degrees North.
Carrickmines specifically, but I am sure the others will have it.
€11/12 iirc a 250ml bottle which lasts ages cos I don't climb mountains.

I suspect that any outdoors shop with proper climbing stuff will have it.

Snow and Rock in Dundrum stock a decent range of chalks too. The liquid stuff seems to last forever.

You can also get strong anti perspirants like perspirex and driclor. I have only seen it in chemists.

You can get liquid chalk in the Great Outdoors on Chatham Street if you're in Dublin city centre.
