Blisters on my Hands!

    HI All
I posted here a couple of months back about taking up the Kettlebell, and I've been doing it now for 5 months...and loving it!

Question, and Im sure this would apply to people who lift any kind of weights, be them kettlebells, dumbells etc.

I started getting blisters on the palm of my hands (directly under middle and fourth fingers) so my other half kindly bought me a pair of leather weight lifting gloves. They worked out great for a while, but now I'm even getting blisters through them!!

Anyone advise me what I should be doing before I pick up my kettlebell? next session, this avo!

    Thanks all.

It's probably callouses just, best thing to do is to forget about the gloves and just let the skin harden up a bit. It'll be annoying at the start but if you leave it a few weeks they'll soon be grand. Mine used to tear all the time but they rarely give me bother now.

Fair play with the kettlebell training btw :)
