If they're not up for any sort of night out at all then it's either financial issues or they're tied down. Are many of your mates in relationships? They might have other plans for weekend nights, maybe going for dinner, staying in to watch a film or going to the cinema.

    OP totally get you!

there are 2 major nite clubs in my town. One is full of sixteen year old scum, the other is a slightly older crown (Im 21 so probably 21 and up to bout 30)

recently any time we've organised a night out, one girl pulls out every time. And we know it's because of a boy she's seeing who texts her for sex. she hasn't had sex with him so she thinks she is not being taken advantage of, despite the fact she has done everything else and does it regularly. it puts a dampner on every night because when she finally does go out she just ends up crying because she sees him scoring another girl. in one case he was texting a girl that was out with us! So when we finally do go out, there is always drama. Definitely getting too old for that like, it's headwrecking!

No 22 is definitly not too old to be going clubbing. I'm almost 25 and I and all my friends still love to go tearing up the dancefloor of a club of a night out. Maybe your friends were just tired, and had stuff on. Or were just feeling lazy.

I was 33 on Saturday and i'm still very partial to going clubbing. Have been since the days of the ormonde and the temple of sound. Your only 22, i dont know quite what to make of that. Defenitly to young to think those days are behind you. Try going somewhere new.

I'm 33 and I still head to a club if the notion takes me. I even still go to the places that I went when I was 23.

It's a case of different people wanting different things. You sound like someone who loves the whole dressing up, going out, meeting your friends, dancing all night thing. Your friends on the other hand are now in a different "place". I see you mentioning how hard it is to get them to leave the house and that they're vegetating on the couch. Later you refer to how they're not big dancers and that you're the one dancing around them.

I think a little bit of give and take is needed. I'm sure your friends still want to see you and socialise with you but it may be the case that going to a superpub/nightclub is no longer their thing. Perhaps you might try something different to lure them out of the house. Maybe going to a smaller less frenetic venue? Doing different things like going bowling?

You're never too young to quit nightclubs.
Think I quit right around the time I got sick of hearing Beyonce for the millionth time... oh yeah girls, throw your hands up! God we're all having such a great time aren't we?
Maybe it was just the shít clubs I was being dragged into.
