Last year they started on the 27th of may, so probably within the next two weeks.

Will they be called 609 this year seeing as it's starting on the 9th of June?

Do they go into detail or is it just general tips? (e.g. for english would they talk about texts?)

    Do they make predictions?

He said LG and GVV. Seems to be what most teachers are tipping. Sure if you cover two modes, you're guaranteed to be grant so it doesn't really matter I suppose.

Did anyone listen to today's? Any good?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,871 ✭✭✭Conor108

I had grinds at the time. It'll be in the podcast section tomorrow I'd say

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 241 ✭✭lc2010

Heard it today, twasn't great tbh. I would much rather if they got to the point rather than having "celebrities" come in and re-sit their leaving. They also spent ages talking about time management which was just really the usual stuff you har from teachers.
The Irish one didn't really make any solid predictions either.:(

I thought it was good. She told us what her solid predictions for the poems were, the 2 HL and OL she thought would be up. She told us we need not study any stair that was on last year. She also predicted the essays(slighlty wishy washy though) and told us the church would not be on it!

However when time is at a premium, I don't think listening to celebs resit the LC is useful.

I found the time management thing to be good, especially about what to do between now and the exams!

Of course :D I was trying to phrase it without having to get off my seat, to see what I had wrote down.

    Anyways,
    Poetry

    Magdileanna

    Jack
    Nil aon Ni

    Aistes
    Polaitiochta

    A problem essay

    Stair
Anything which came up in 09 and 08 will not be on this year.

Pros - concentrate on areas which were not on last year.
