Sorry to create a new thread for this but I can't find the post I'm looking for. Someone suggested a website recently that allows you to put in the food you eat in a day and then it tells you how much carbs/protein/etc. that you ate. Does anyone know the site I'm talking about?

either fitday as mentioned or possibly dailyplate .. be warned though those sites will wreck your head.. i tried fitday before and i would have a 10k run completed in the time it took me to enter everything I ate that day

My pet-hate with fitday is that they don't have an option to exclude all that American crapinabox from the search listing, had to scroll through 3 pages of processed rubbish just to get to homemade bone stock.

I use sparkpeople, it automatically keeps a little database of things you added before.
Honestly doesn't take me more than five minutes a day to keep the diary.
It also has a search pane for things others have added....Which is really helpful for finding Irish products.

They are all too american for my liking; think I will just stick with tracker from Unislim.

Thanks for all the replies! I basically want to know how much of everything I'm eating a day to see if I should be cutting back on anything. I've been doing Weightwatchers since September and the longer I'm on it the healthier I want to eat!

I love it! I love looking at other peoples blogs and seeing how far they have come along :) Picked up loads of info, support and tips from it.

I like the diet tracker on lowcarber.org, which has 100g as its default setting. All those cups and spoons on Fitday annoy me. Who eats a cup of chicken?

Yeah, dunno where cup comes from, even the american eat chicken by the bucket

Dailyburn is what I use. Excellent because people are constantly updating the food database with regional brands etc. It's also an iphone app so is very portable.
