I heard them say it too.

Nothing on breakingnews or RTE ?

Any truth ? Seems odd that they would just come out with something like that !

Saw it myself on Sky. No mention in the headlines on RTE.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 862 ✭✭✭Vudgie

I heard that, although the top story on rte news is David Cameron becoming prime minister. No mention of it in the headlines although they may catch up as the news goes on.

Maybe a TD was asked to pay their €1,400 bar bill and her/his family objected!

If Sky News have got their facts wrong then this could be very serious. The last thing this country needs is foreigners thinking this country is about to go Greek.

Dozens of people broke away from the march and ran at the gates of the parliament's main building, Leinster House.

They wrestled with police, who tried to force them back and secure the gate.

At least one man suffered a head injury during the scuffles with organisers appealing for calm
