okay last night while i was doing my usually 30mins cycle at 10pm, i decided to go a different route and stupid me was trying to get back onto the path and honestly didn't notice the curb, so i went flying over the handle bars and the bike then fell on my left leg, been in hospital all night and its only bruised tissue, thank god nothing was broken but the doctor said i cant walk on it for a week and cant do any physical exercise involving my leg for the next 2 weeks

I'm worried because ill put on loads of weight now seeing as i cant do any exercise is there any exercises i can do whilst sitting down :P:P something that will make me feel less of a slob for the next 2 weeks

like should i cut my WW points in half for the week so i can lose weight, i know people are gonna say just put on a few pounds you will lose it again but this would really put me off doing my diet again, i always give up so easily and because i have gone 7 weeks and always lost weight even if it was just a pound i was still losing

Adjust your diet. If you normally cycle 30 minutes a day, subtract 200 calories or the equivalent points from your daily allowance. It shouldn't be too difficult, because with no cycling, you won't be as hungry.

I reckon when you are injured is not the time to be trying to lose. Eat at maintenance, or as close as you can manage. Eating a low calorie diet is not an effective way to heal quickly.

    what she said ^^^

drop maybe 250 calories from normal intake, and dont worry... your not going to gain any significant weight unless your taking in a big surplus. forcus on recovery, which you cant do on a major calorie deficit.

Accept it's a week or two when you won't make much progress, just concentrate on recovery, and then you can make up for it. Anyway, I reckon the odd refeed or few days at maintenance is good for you when you are dieting, it stops your body getting used to a low level of calories.
