One of the country's most successful comedians is due to chat to Ryan Tubridy on 'The Late Late Show' tonight.

Funnyman Jason Byrne will be dropping in to talk about his time in the kitchen with celebrity chef Marco Pierre White.

Also on the show tonight is legendary Chieftains musician Paddy Moloney, who will be talking about his career in music.

AdvertisementProviding musical entertainment on tonight's show is American singer/songwriter Joshua Radin.

My loins are quivering in anticipation at that line up. :pac:

Nope it was into the RTE Canteen and it went something along the lines of this; "you, you and you; be at this place at this time tonight!"

    Tubs: 'For. ****. Sake.'

Jason Byrne in a kitchen full of big sharp knives. An opportunity lost there I tells ya.

Great singer. Fans of Scrubs should recognise his songs as they often appear on the show.

Jason Byrne the most unfunny guy you could meet; it's a close one with him, Paddy Courtney and Tommy Tiernan, useless sh!tes the three of them!

Jaysus you'd swear he went on about it for ages, he just showed it for a few seconds. I know this is the Late Late bashing thread and all so clearly I'm not sticking with the cool kids here.... but anyway, he's an old-ish man just happy about his new grandchild- I thought it was a nice story and a change from the depression we're used to seeing lately

There is nothing that bores more than anybody showing me a scan of their baby, I know it's big for the parents but there is nothing exciting about a hazy b&w image of a blob....

Maybe "YEAH" is Ryan's new catchphrase?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 566 ✭✭✭SB-08

The show is at an all time low. Could the guests get any worse? There are no big names on, and Tubs seems to be losing the will to live more as each week pases and who could blame him? Although saying that the Saturday Night Show with Craig Doyle is even worse for guests - wall to wall Z-listers. Is it just me or did Pat seem to get bigger names on a regular basis?

I sometimes think Ryan just says "Yes' loudly to wake himself up at times and reassure people he is awake. He is so lifeless. There is literally zero enthusiasm from him. Granted I know he must still be upset about Gerry's passing but he is never enthusiastic.

Seemed to switch to "Yes" just now. LLS always has good variety!
