    Hi
I rushed out after xmas and bought a half decent rowing machine, and have been sticking with it, usually 900 reps 5 times a week.

Have come down from 13st 12lbs to 12st 9lbs, and have been stuck at that weight for last 5 weeks, however and can see visible results on arms, legs and sholders/back, belly has shrank also.

Just wondering what the best excerise would be to compliment the rowing, want to work on chest, and stomach, was thinking of a multi gym, but have some space restrictions.....any advice appreciated, Thanks Vtwin.

You could try doing intervals on the rower. For a minute, go flat out, then have a two minute recovery interval at your normal pace or a bit slower. Repeat six to ten times.

My pick for home equipment is a decent bench and some free weights. Much cheaper than a multi gym, takes up less space and you'll get far more useful work out of them.

Get a bench press? or weights set?

Aye, you need to mix it up on the rowing to see results.

Do you have a metre counter on your erg? Do a 2K once a week, three 500m once a week, and a minute on/two off as suggested once a week.

Add some bodyweight exercises like squats, pull ups, push ups and you're starting to suck diesel there.
