Anybody have a recipe for protein bars that they actually use themselves and are tasty?

Also the approx amount of protein, carbs & fat in them?

I have seen a few recipes on the internet but no idea what they are like so just seeing if anybody has their own tasty recipes.

    Thanks ;)

There are a few mate but it really is hit N miss.

I've never tried it but will be giving some a go soon - looking for flapjack / brownie type consistency.

Yeh was thinking along the same lines as yourself re: flapjack/brownie type bar.

All the recipes I've seen call for some mad ingredient or other. "sugar free instant cake mix" or some other mad stuff like that. Either that or they're loaded with carbs.

I have added some whey to flapjacks with limited success. They have a more cake-y texture than normal flapjacks but taste ok. You have to add the whey (with milk or water or whatever) after you've done the oats + sugar + butter bit though. Whey and butter just don't mix well.
