or we could hop on the train to cobh

    or paintballing

or they have clay pigeon shooting

and I would like to go next weekend,I don't get to go to these meetups frequently because I have a wonderful 4yr old and my working hours are unpredictable :):)

    Sincerely yours,

When I was younger we used to bring cans down with us and go drinking by the house... disgraceful now to think about it.

Anyway how many are up for fota???

Oh and would anyone be interested in going somewhere for the cork dine week for 25e??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,446 ✭✭✭miss_shadow

Fota and then dinner sounds good!
Could get to fota for about 12.30?
go for a few drinks in town and then go for grub?
    ...how does that sound

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,129 ✭✭✭LenaClaire

That sounds like fun to me. I have never been to Fota :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,547 ✭✭✭Purple Lemons

I'd love to tag along to Fota :D

Not the meal afterwards though, I still can't eat more than a few mouthfuls after being sick, should probably get that checked out seeing as I've lost over half a stone since surgery

Yeah Id say it could be an expensive one alright.
    Fota 13.50e
    Train ( I dont know)
    Picnic optional (maybe) 5e
    Dinner would be 25e, +Drink ??
    Night time drinking 20e+

How about just go to fota, or just have dinner and drinks?

I'll probably come along depending on where you're going to. Does anyone else have a suggestion or does miss shadow (Isaacs) win by default ;p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,446 ✭✭✭miss_shadow

I'm open to suggestions! just thought I might get the ball rolling

you'll have to be quick though cos i'll have to book before the morning :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,519 ✭✭✭mudokon

I'd be okay with Isaacs as well, the menu looks good. It doesnt state that potatoes/veg is included in the price for the main course though so it might cost more than €25.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,446 ✭✭✭miss_shadow

I think they'll be doing themselves some damage if they just gave you just the meat/fish etc..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 900 ✭✭✭stevexo

Wot time are ye thinking of? I dunno bout the whole dress thing though cos i don't even own one...Wud that mean I'm not allowed?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,660 ✭✭✭Blitzkrieger

    I don't own a dress either......

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be somewhere else that night yet but that sounds like fun. Obviously I don't expect you to book me a place based on a 'maybe'. Anybody mind if I possibly turn up later for drinks?
