Which ones have you met? I saw Pauline Mclynn after her perfomance in The Taming of the Shrew, and I got her autograph. Very nice lady :-)

Met Brendan Gleeson a good few times and always found him extremely polite.

Used to serve him in Gibneys in Malahide a good few times, always a really nice man. Everyone in Malahide only has good things to say about him (can't say the same for some other local celebs here!)

Have also served Anthony Hopkins, Liam Neeson and they were true gents.

I've noticed that the bigger the celebrity, often the nicer the person.

Served Johnny Briggs (Mike Balwin from corrie) when i was working in a hotel years ago- absolute gent!

    Jimmy Magee... absolute sweetheart.
I was in the audience for a kids' show many years ago. After the show, I went autograph hunting around RTE and he helped me get Peter Collins' autograph and a couple of Fair City people (now long gone from the show) :-)

Roly is the only person I ever met. Served him petrol one night on his way to a gig when he was at the height of his popularity...around the time of his `Hello Darling` chart hit.

This is going back a few years now but used to see Ryan Tubridy a lot around Waterford. He was in the Book Centre one day and my mother and daughter went over to him, I got an attack of the shys, I know, I'm such a wuss:rolleyes:. Anyway he chatted away to them and was asking my daughter what books she read etc. She asked him for a Holey Moley mug, twas the time he was doing the Full Irish on 2FM. So he told her write to him and remind him that she had met him, and sure enough she got the mug. Still have it, on top of fridge, full of biros:D. Nice dude, and very, very tall:p

Yeah, the Dunlops were true gents, always made time for a word with you. Met Mick McCarthy, Terry Wogan and Ronnie Corbett years ago playing some kind of golf tournament at the golf course on road where I grew up, all very nice. Nell McCafferty is lovely, also, mad as a hatter, met her through work.

Was in his restaurant last year, I am a HUGE fan of his! Myself my oh and our 2 friends where sitting there going, imagine Jamie Carragher walked in now and he did! With his 2 kids! He was lovely too, I really didn't want to disturb him coz he was with the family and about to get food but I would have regretted it so badly aftterwards! He was lovely and posed for a pic with my! My oh was delighted, he said he had a very firm hand shake as well!!!!!!

Ian Dempsey. He used to come to the coffee shop I worked in in Dublin about 4 years ago and used to chat to me when I was round the side having a smoke. I tried to play it cool but I he was my first crush as a kid.

Oh and Dave Couse....ex lead singer of Irish band A House. He chatted to me for ages after a solo gig in London and gave me a t-shrt and copy of his CD and asked me did I want to go for pint! Sound!

I like the megan fox I have seen her in one glamour show. She is really gorgeous and Since then I fell on her. I really very much attract to her as she were looking very hot. But I did not like that she was with her BF Austin.

The mammy and sister met Louis Walsh and gushed about him for weeks afterwards (the Mammy wasn't a fan before she met him, but loves him now)...........

I met Eddie Izzard YEARS ago in Cork, backstage at the everyman, and he was a dotey-pet!

I met stephen speilberg coming out of the royal dublin when he was making private ryan here, he was nice enough to smile and return a hello. also met clancy brown (screw from shawshank) in stephens green, he was very nice and polite. and also matthew mcconnaughy, was in our gym while making reign of fire, he is realy that laid back, and very approachable and well mannered, he'd even spot you and have a laugh if you were the only ones there, which was the case, cos I trained in the morning early.
also stupidly good looking and ridulously tanned to the point where I though he was black when I first saw him!! yeah training near the likes of him can certainly do nothing for your self image, BASTA*D!!!

Frank Kelly was amazing to me when I was about 10. Met him in a Texaco station and asked for an autograph, completely without any autograph material. He said hang on, went in and bought me a Christmas card and wrote it out to me.

Will never forget it. Was a lovely thing to do.

Also David Beckham, met him after a United Chelsea game (my dads friend had arranged a VERY quick meet) and he gave me his match jersey and signed it for me.

    Two absolute gents.

Met many a well known face but off the top of my head the below are nice:

    * Mark Sheppard: Serenity, Battlestar Galacticia, Leverage, etc.
    * Jewel Staite: Firefly/Serenity.
    * Robert Patrick: Termanator 2, Stargate Atlantis, amid many other things.
    * Nicholas Brendan: Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other shows (some comedy).
    * Danny Strong: Buffy, Angel, other shows.
    * Clare Kramer: In some of the above shows. Now a close friend.
    * Keith Szarabajka & Vincent Kartheiser From Angel. Two nice blokes. Vincent is barking mad though! LOL
    * Armin Shimmerman and J.G. Hertzler: Buffy, Star Trek, and other shows and stage acting.
    * J Rugust Richard: Above shows.
    * Christian Kane: Leverage, Angel, etc. Seen him sing with "Kane" live a few times and met him later and chatted. One very humble bloke too.
    * Steve Carson: The other half of the band "Kane" - equally a great bloke.
    * Alice Krige: (Borg Queen) - A very soft speaking quiet woman. Very kind and generous to the public.

By far though amid the many that I work with, deal with and are friends, is Nathan Fillion.

    3285284905109389270b.jpg

An absolute charming gent of a man whom is very naturally funny, humble and NEVER forgets just how lucky he is to be doing what he is doing.
You invite him to a party and he becomes the life and soul of it. He's just a "gas" character.
Every time we (wife and I) meet him, is a very enjoyable special day indeed.

Read that and to be honest, even though Nathan comes out of it good, from the man my wife and I know, he would NEVER say those words - especially the stronger ones.
The wording/phrasing of what he is quoted to have said is just something which would never come from him and far, far off from his natural polite character and manner.

As one person commented on that site:
This is complete slander. That anyone believes it is astounding. First of all, Nathan would never use those words. Second of all, even if he did, the "insult" is worded like a five-year-old. "The crew hates you, the cast hates you, the producers hate you." Nathan's more clever than that.

    True, very, very true.
With hand on my heart - a nicer bloke you cannot meet and chat to.

Mentioned him in a previous post but Ryan Tubridy is a true gent:). Met him again today on his Bucket and Spade tour. After the programme was off air he made time to talk to everyone and posed for endless photos. He made my daughter's day by sitting down on the prom wall with his arm around her, told her he loved her glasses:D
