Is a vitamin supplement containing fructooligosaccharides suitable for someone on a low-carb diet? On some websites it says that it's basically sugar, but on other websites it says that it's indigestible carbohydrate.

Ya, tis indigestible alright, but it makes lovely food for your good bacteria. Apparently seems to cause a little bit of extra weight loss too.

How much is in the supplement. If it's a pill I'd say not much.

It's a liquid supplement, I don't know how much is in it, I've emailed the company that sells it and am waiting for them to email back. If it's indigestible, does that mean that there are no useable carbs from it?

Yup, 'cept your gut bacteria can use it, they love it, hence if may cause a little gas if you have too much :)
