    Afternoon all,

The good lady had been going to the gym since January, and whilst she’s not got as stuck in as I have, she has been going twice a week. Upon asking her what she was doing exercise wise, it sound like bit of everything and no structure. (Look at me being all knowledgeable!) So I got her to see the instructor that has been most helpful for me.

So she came back on Monday absolutely fcuk’ed! And said she feels she’s been wasting her time the past few months. Any way…. She’s still a little sore from Monday. Should she go to the gym again to night as planned, or wait for the soreness to pass a little?

    Cheers

Yes there is no reason why she should not go the gym tonight but I would recommend that she does a proper warm up of at least 20mins it will help loosen up her muscles which are tight and aching.

Personally - I think she shoud rest a couple of days.

her muscles will probably allways ache a bit after a 'good' session. Mine still do after years of training
Her next session will be half hearted if she is sore.

Two days of soreness is normal. It can be more than that if she hits a muscle she did not hit before and it sounds like that what happened.

I get this all the time, she should just go as normal and within 15min it'll have eased up a good bit, that's what I find anyway. Tis just the sign of a good workout imo!

She wants to go, and I think she was just trying to get a massage out of me and a hot bath run for her!!!!

    Cheers for the replies.
