Gaining weight?

I've been told to gain about ten pounds, and as jealous as my friends were that I could now scoff fifty mars bars, I don't want to do it that way. ;) Just wondering if anyone has any tips for putting on weight through healthy eating? I usually do about an hour of exercise every second day or so... do you think I'll need to increase that to keep the extra weight from getting flabby?

    Thanks :-)

    100gms nuts like almonds/brazils/cashews = 600 calories

    and

    1 litre of milk = 600calores

You cant lose by eating more of these two

Organic Peanut Butter out of the jar. Tasty and relatively healthy. Cashew butter too but I find other nut butters a bit hard to eat and relatively expensive.

I have the same problem! not that its a bad thing. I go to the gym 3 times a week and I try to do mostly weights in order to make myself look a little bit bigger, I don't like the skinny frail girl look at all. Also try to eat lots of dairy foods, carbohydrates such as pasta and bread an nuts too.

    Milk Milk and more Milk:

http://stronglifts.com/gomad-milk-squats-gallon-gain-weight/ I'm only doing half a gallon! Pussy!

I just started StrongLifts 5×5 Beginner Strength Training Program last week.
http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-beginner-strength-training-program/ Tough going, but enjoyable at the same time.

Effects of change of diet and training have seen me go from skinny to not so..and still going.

I'm also using a weight gain for a few weeks. Bit of a boost. and 700 calories a go.

"EAT like your expecting a famine" (Thanks Token)

    Good luck

Hmm... I know a guy who took heaps of stuff it and didn't exercise... doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that he just got really fat instead :p I'm not the most active person as it is so maybe I'll skip that one!

Milk certainly seems to be the way to go, I'll be giving that a shot. Peanut butter sounds good to, I love that stuff so there'll be no problem there :D

Yeah the skinny frail girl thing is turning out to be a bit of a health problem! Carbs sound good, I know they have the good fats ;) I ususally eat most of this stuff anyway, I think I just need to start eating a lot more of it.

Thanks for all the suggestions! :)
