Don't know if this is the right place for this but I'll chance my arm anyway :)

There will be a 2 hour Womens Self Defense and Fitness work Shop Held in Ultimate Fitness Centre, the Long Mile Road on June 12th from 12-2pm.

The Workshop will be coached by yours truly Ais the Bash. The Workshop aims to introduce ladies to the benefits of physical activity, show some self defense techniques to increase confidence on the street and also provide some information on nutrition. The Workshop will be 10euro per person and is open to ALL levels of fitness. All proceeds from this event will go to the rape crisis centre.

Please everyone spread the word and help make this successful!

    Thanks,
    Ais

Thanks very much for the support keep spreading the word :)

I really want everyone to get the best from the workshop so I'm going to have the cut off point as 30 people, if it turns out to be very popular I'll run another one very shortly afterwards to raise more money & provide everyone with some new skills.

    Thanks again,
    Ais :)

Yup the Long Mile Road is in Dublin, if you wanted me to come do it in Limerick it wouldn't be a problem, I'm sure we could sort something out :)

I'd be interested in it but it would be too far away.

Maybe one can be held near you sometime :)

I'd love to do this but I can't make it tomorrow. Next time, hopefully!

    I hope it's a great success. It's a great idea and a great cause!

    Hi ladies,

As someone who follows MMA a little bit, take my word for it when I say that Aisling is harder than a coffin nail, and thus instruction from her would be very useful indeed!

Best of luck Ais, and keep that left up!

Thanks very much to everyone who came along today & supported a great cause :)

Special thanks to John Kavanagh for being my dummy for the day & John Gray for giving an excellent talk!

Some pics can be found here on my Facebook page, hopefully it works!

We had a brilliant day there was a great atmosphere, the material went down a treat & the nutrition talk gave some invaluable information that most of the girls were suprised to hear.

For anyone who missed it, I was so happy with the experience today I'll be running one again in the near future :)

    Ais :) xx
