post up your diet and what exercise you are taking.

If its full or carbs and you are not doing intervals and weights then there is your answer.

Then you're not going to get results you want. Doing any exercises won't spot reduce fat and you can't out train a bad diet.

I agree with Ciaran500. Doing leg weights will not reduce fat on your legs, it just doesn't work like that - i'm sure someone like transform would be able to give the reason as to why that is.

The main factor to losing weight is diet. You can do all the exercise you want but if your diet is bad, you won't lose weight. Obviously exercise will assist you in terms of losing weight but nutrition is definately the key factor. You will need to watch your carb intake specifically and give consideration to the times of the day you are eating carbs - i.e. There is no point in eating foods that contain complex carbs late at night (as you simply won't burn them off), as the main nutritional function of carbs is to supply your body with energy.

OP, if you want specific advise, you're going to have to post up your diet.

I'm not transform but he answer is simple - weight comes off all over the body - not just one particular place.

Dieting has got her so far. it could take her further. Nothing about weightwatchers encourage learning about nutrition so her diet is probably still bad.

Exercise will help - not for reasons of spot targeting of course - but because of the increased calorie burning.

If she has never done leg exercises they she is in for a shock - I'd say they are the most gruelling - tough place to start. I doubt if she will stay with them.

Walking when hungry is easy cheap and effective if the exercise routine fizzels out.

I really think you should post your diet. As 95% of people who look for help and say they have a clean diet, don't.
Weight-watchers tends to encourage a diet that is higher in carbs, any lower in fat (which leads to a drop in protein as people avoid meat/eggs etc). Which isn't a great diet for weight loss.
