Anyway - These are a cool bunch of vid's so far. Nearly finished the 1st one.

Seems like a v.cool guy, who knows his stuff.

If any of you Trance guys havent got it, then you should give it a look. Its really good to see how he works. I'm actually really enjoying listening to the track that he's working on. Sounds pretty cool.

the last fm in the studio with one of the trance guys was with zander von doorn (iirc). Was just awful.

Cant really remember that one - apart from his hilarious Por nfilm accent..

I kinda tune out of the Trance stuff tbh.. But Sean Tyas seemed like a decent enough one. If you were making trance it would be interesting to see how he layers stuff, makes the arrangement etc..

One of the tracks he was making was pretty cool up to when he started getting all melodic.. but definitely recommened for the Trance Guys.

I'm sure it'll be on You Tube soon if anyone missed the Mag. Think FM have a YT Channel now.

you'd be surprised how much you can learn from those videos even when they're people who you really don't like. I only started to really get to grips with production after the D Ramirez one. Funkagenda one was cool too.

I'm tying to remember them now.. There are a few that have been good alright.. but few that have been great. The Steve Angello one made me buy Logic. Even though it wasnt groundbreaking - he made it look very easy to use.

Funkagenda was pretty good - but if he hadn't done a good one, all the Toolroom gimps would have taken the utter p iss out of him! So he had to! :pac:

I like the Claude Von Stroke Vids. The last one had his track - Vocal Chords in it. Really cool to see how he made it.

James Reynolds one was pretty good & I think the Matti Schwarz one was ok. I've watched the D Ramirez one a couple of times though - same with FA.

Actually - The recent Thomas Gold one was very good.

What I'd like are high quality versions of the rest of them. Most of the issues aren't even available as back orders (I've tried). Stuff like Claude Van Stroke, Funkagenda, Mark Knight... even Deadmau5 or some more commercial stuff. Any thoughts? I can't find a decent torrent anywhere and all the rest of them are split into 22 part rapidshare archives which are a massive PITA.

I usually find the CM ones sh1t tbh.. I have to stop buying it, it annoys me so much, but I just get it out of habit at this stage.

FM are infinitely better.
