    Teams:
    Connacht:

    15 Liam Bibo

    14 Tiernan O’Halloran

    13 Eoin Griffin

    12 Troy Nathan

    11 Brian Tuohy

    10 Ian Keatley

    09 Conor O’Loughlin

    08 Mike McComish

    07 Ray Ofisa

    06 Andrew Browne

    05 Bernie Upton

    04 Dave Nolan

    03 Robbie Morris

    02 Adrian Flavin (C)

    01 Ronan Loughney

    Replacements:

    16 Dermot Murphy

    17 Conor Higgins

    18 Eoin McKeown

    19 Johnny O’Connor

    20 Kieran Campbell

    21 Miah Nikora

    22 Aidan Wynne
    Scarlets:

15 Daniel Evans, 14 Sean Lamont, 13 Regan King, 12 Jonathan Davies 11 Andy Fenby, 10 Rhys Priestland, 9 Martin Roberts

1 Iestyn Thomas, 2 Matthew Rees, 3 Rhys Thomas, 4 Lou Reed, 5 Damian Welch, 6 Rob McCusker, 7 Josh Turnbull, 8 David Lyons (capt).

Replacements: 16 Phil John, 17 Emyr Phillips, 18 Deacon Manu 19 Dominic Day, 20 Tavis Knoyle, 21 Dan Newton, 22 Lee Williams.

Delighted to see Griffen, O'Halloran and Nolan in the starting 15. 3 very promising players for the future. Scarlets have the stronger team however but im wearing the green of connacht today so fingers crossed they can topple them and set their sights firmly on Ulster for that coveted Heineken cup spot.

Also this game is on Setanta Ireland at 1:35pm today and can be watched online (if you are an eircom customer) here: http://setanta-video.eircom.net/eircom/channels/Live.aspx

I think Connacht are playing far better then the Scarlets at the mo and if it wasn't for the smallish nature of Connachts squad and their heavy fixture list of late I'd take them to win. Scarlets are playing for nothing and have taken a few heavy beatings of late.

Connacht +18 is a great bet for the punters out there.

You could count the number of spectators in the stand. :D

What a disaster Parc y Scarlets has been.

it would of been good a few years earlier, fans dont want to go watch a bottom of the table team,

    as it ever been full,

Scarlets had an attempted drop goal and now have a penalty because of a knock down.

edit: good score by priestland, 3-0 S.

Scarlets a little rampant at the moment.

    TMO, tough to see.

    Given. 10-0 Scarlets.

Probably was a try but difficult to see how it could be awarded considering the ref asked was it a try or not - no way you can see the grounding of the ball.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

My tv is pretty **** but I thought it was questionable if there was an arm under the ball when grounded.

Unfortunate miss by Keatley there, good minute or two of play from connacht atm, hopefully they can keep the heads and move it around like they did against Leinster.

Can't believe that try was given, you can't see the grounding.

Nice bit of skill by TOH there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

What has the ref done wrong?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,287 ✭✭✭crisco10

about 7 phases there for Connacht and all that happened was they went back 15 yards...

And another try. this is tough watching.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭outwest

the tmo, no way could anyone see the grounding.

  • Site Banned Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭wixfjord

**** ye davies if only I had of been on the ball and got the time of ko right!

    Try Scarlets 22-0 probably 24-0

That's pretty much the case alright.

This could be a tanking, against an awful Scarlets team. :(

kealty pen, maybe we can get a lossing point:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,287 ✭✭✭crisco10

The Connacht scrum half's little wind up before he passes is painfully long sometimes.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

oh god, just saved from another try somehow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,450 ✭✭✭evil_seed

missed the 1st 25 mins cos i was running off some beer. what's the general consensus? too many changes seems to have had a terrible effect. browne has looked good carrying the ball but havent seen anything else. lucky we didnt concede another there

Can agree with that at all thomond and I cant see how anyone would of backed connacht with these teams. Lets remember that this scarlets team beat London Irish and are at home in Wales. Players like Lyons, Roberts, Davies, King, Lamont etc are all far better quality than connacht have.

This is going horribly wrong :( Scarlets have the win already but I feel we can get a losing bonus point

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,238 ✭✭✭✭Diabhal Beag

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭outwest

O'Loughlin's reaction to the whistle for HT says it all really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,207 ✭✭✭durkadurka

That 3rd HEC spot lookin well dodgy now.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭outwest

not realy. the game is ravinhill is the winner take all one. even if connacht won today they would need a win in ravinhill

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,165 ✭✭✭✭brianthebard

O'Loughlin's reaction to the whistle for HT says it all really.

First time they looked slightly dangerous.
