Slow but steady weight loss

Hi all, I let myself go for the past three years and gradually my weight krept up to 92kg (making me obese), when my ideal weight, for a 1.69cm male, would be around 70kg. This was caused by eating lousy food, guzzling soft drinks and doing no exercise, and I started to get sickened by it late last year.

I lost 3kg without intending to during February and the first half of March, mostly because I was eating a lot less without realising it. When I stepped on a scales I was delighted to see that I was down to 89kg (the trend had been upwards for years prior to this). This gave me the boost I needed to embrace a far healthier lifestyle, which I began on 19 March.

Today I am 83 kg - so I've lost 6kg in a little over a month. How? calorie deficit, no sweets or junk, and about an hour to two hours of cardio (cycling machine) per day.

For the past two weeks I have lost 2kg per week, and while I don't see it too much with my eyes, my clothes are fitting me better.

I eat a lot of weetabix, low fat milk, tuna fish, brown bread, fruit and vegetables. I've started very light weights at the gym now, too.

My question is, can my current rate of weight loss (around 1.8kg per week) be sustained until I reach my desired target weight of 70kg, or will it start to slow down?
