You can upload it directly to boards as well. Click "Post Reply" and below the text box there's a button for manage attachments. Click that, it'll open a new window. The upload from url is handy if the picture is one the web but maybe not somewhere that will keep a permanent url, like 4chan or whatever.
Oh, and that function will only create an attachment link in the post, not display the picture. What you can do is right click the attachment link and copy url location, and use that in the image tags.0 -
