Anyone have any tips or anything of how to sleep? Recently I have been unable to sleep, I've been trying since like 12 and I'm tried yet can't get no sleep.

Also I'd like tips on how to Lucid Dream!

Drink some milk, serotonin helps relaxes you. Also never have the laptop in bed. Don't watch TV in bed. Build it into your brain that bed = sleep.

If you can't sleep, don't lie in bed for hours and hours. Get up and do something.

I think I'm the wrong person to be posting sleeping tips actually, considering that it's 4:33am and I'm wide awake! :pac:

DO NOT READ BOARDS! I meant to go to sleep at 1am, now here I am still on the net when I should have been asleep ages ago.. its addictive, I tell myself ''another half hour and I'll go to bed...'' the only way out is to turn off your computer, sprinkle some lavender on your pillow, close your eyes and think of edward cullen. :D

No caffine after 3pm (Tea, Coffee, Chocolate etc)
No Cheese or Pork after Midday.
Eat lots of Fruit, Salads, Veg and Quality Protein.

    Don't exercise after 6pm.

Get up at the same time every day for one week - no matter how much sleep you get!!!

First week will be tough but it's crucial as you will be training your body clock.

Stay up all night and day and don't go to sleep until around 9/10 pm. Body clock = fixed.

Eat a high carb meal about 1 hour before going to bed. It's has a natural effect of making males sleepy. (Think of the stereotypical male falling sleeping after a big traditional sunday meal...it's actually based on medical fact.)

Oh, and try to wind down slowly. Over the period of an hour, stop watching TV, reading books etc.

And the biggest requirement is routine. It's the only way to 'set' your internal body clock.

I really have severe problems with this, don't know what works.
Used to be that I would go running or do a load of exercise and then I would have no problem sleeping.
Now when I do that, all it does is make me energised for hours and hours after (regardless of how tired I am).

Might work for you though, I'd certainly give it a try.

There's doughnuts that you freeze, I took one out, I have to let it defrost for at least an hour.

    Will report back.

    Insomnia is killing me!

Was starving not so long ago, went downstairs, put a Pizza in the oven.

    Went upstairs.

    Went back 30mins later.

    Pizza burnt to a crisp.

    FML. :(
