Green Vs Red Apples

    I've been reading recently that some apples have a lot of sugar in them. I'm assuming varieties such as pink ladies are the worst culprits. But what about golden crisps, branburn, and granny smiths? Also, are peaches low-ish in sugar?

    I imagine granny smith is up there, actually there probably isn't much between all varieties when compared to other fruit and berries.
    The size of the apple would be more important than the variety when it comes to sugar content

    Fruit are bred for sweetness and so most fruit you buy will be high in sugar. Apple and peaches aren't the worst but still have about as much sugar as a chocolate bar.

    That list is very misleading. Plums may have more sugar than apples, per 100g, but apples are far heavier.
    I'll like to see a list in terms of cals per fruit (or portion for berries)
