Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this but....

recently bought the 'pro fitness toning belt' from Argos, have never used one of them, so maybe its normal, but should there be a slight stinging sensation while using the belt?

also any views on these belts? how long should you use one to see (I'm guessing very very slight) change?

    thanks!

well there is plenty of added help right here - whats the diet like in detail and what is your training like?

k, got fed up of the junk food and feeling slugish so started cut out all take aways, crisps choc and usual junk, uped the veg and meat at meal times and have cut down on carbs but still have some in every meal, tend to look at carbs and sat fat and try to keep them low!

in terms of gym its mostly cardio I stick to and do 5 miles on treadmill/crosstrainer 3 days a week, usually go for a 2 and a half mile walk on 2 other days of the week, try and do 30 shoulder pull things on the machine (sorry dont know the name) and 15 glute presses on each leg while at the gym!
try and do 50 sit ups every second night too,

    any advice would be great!

k typical menu for a day, cereal with skimmed milk for breakfast, sandwich or wrap with ham, small bit cheese and lots of salad, dinner fillet of chicken or beef or fish, on adverage 4 types of veg and either 225g baked or mash potato,60g dried rice, adverage portion of noodles, add salad sometimes, or soya sauce, chilli or spices, or rarely gravy. snacks of fruit, rice cakes once or twice a day.

yeah my gym def needs help, I'm a bit lost on the weights but as I was saying was trying to focus on toning my stomach mostly!

The stinging is electric shocks which cause your muscles to contract. These are really of use to invalids or comatose patients to stop muscle wastage, not much use for building muscles, esp. if the electricity has to get through a thick layer of fat. I would'nt bother with it, nor the situps.
