I started Bootcamp (bootcampIreland.com) about 5 weeks ago in Dublin.

I'm a reasonably active female and just wanted to get out of the gym and into the sunshine since the weather has improved. I didn't know what to expect, but I've been pleasantly surprised!!!

I've never been into running, but have noticed my fitness levels rocketing since I started. I try do the 3 classes per week, and am really enjoying the sessions. You generally get a different instructor every class so you never know what to expect - some are more into sprinting, interval style training, and others focus more on circuits and core work. The saturday classes (in the Park) focuses more on jogging etc.

The atmosphere in the classes are always fun, the teachers are friendly, and there is so much going on in the way of bootcamp events and training days etc, you could really kick off a life changing thing by starting with them I think. The enthusiasm is really catching!!! They have this day out in the curragh next weekend which I'm going to miss unfortunately, but it's a kyrpton factor style obstacle course (the army one!) - would be a lot of fun!

In my opinion, if you're an athelete already, then you might find these classes too easy, but if you're looking to start back into fitness training, then I'd say you could do no better by at least starting out with these guys! You've nothing to loose by doing a class or two to start anyway!
