sorry if this is the wrong place, and sorry too if this is a thread that is constantly being put up but i'm really worried that i might be pregnant.

i know the first reaction is do a test.. but i can't right now, i'm away and in the middle of nowhere, no pharmacy, no nothing.. my only option would be to feign an emergency and get brought to hospital, i will be home in a week so i'll do it then, but for now i guess i just need to tell someone [even if it is just boards!]

and maybe a little advice? my period is three weeks late, i wasn't bothered at first because i'm quite irregular and i'd had a period since the last time i had sex, but all of a sudden i'm worried today, when i think about it my last period was shorter than normal, but it was definitely more than 'spotting'. i have no other symptoms, my breasts aren't sore, i'm not quessy, my appetite hasn't changed.. [i do have stomach pains today, but it's not unlike ones i've had before, nerves perhaps]
i know noone can say anything for sure, but i'd really like if someone could tell me that it doesn't sound like pregnancy

Nobody can tell you it doesn't sound like pregnancy I'm afraid - since everyone's pregnancy is different.

Having to wait a week to take a test is torture though, I don't envy you. Isn't there a GP you could go to? Or just go to the hospital without feigning an emergency?

hi,

i was in a similar position a few weeks ago had unprotected sex the day before my period arrived and then had the lightest period I ever had in my life, did a test a about 10 days after having unprotected sex and the test came back negative.

Try not to worry too much and hope it all goes OK.

Hi, Have a similar query to this post but it was closed on me and told to go see my doctor which I will if my period doesn't arrive this month but I noticed this post wasn't closed and just need some advice if anyone had been in a similar situation - I had unprotected sex a few days before my period was due, I got my period albeit extremely extremely light, never had heavy periods but never had one this light before either. This last for about 4/5 days - I did a pregnancy test a few days later and it came back negative. Just wondering is there a chance I could be pregnant, I know I should take another test but doesn't it take a while for HCG to be in your system?
