Just wondering does anybody know much about Noa Nakaitaci? Saw the try he got v's Munster and obviously the England game.
Im thinking Ire v Fra 11th Oct. Whats he like in the air and defensive positing? I thought he was electric with ball in hand. Glided over the ground. Thomas also to come back. What talent they have! In Joe we trust!

He's been playing for Clermont for 4 years in the centre or on the wing: http://www.lnr.fr/noa-nakaitaci,7177-2014-2015.html

Can only seeing Toulon winning this one. Massive crowd of over 60,000 due.

Massive game for LaRochelle at home against Bordeaux. It's a must win game if they want to stay up.

Sky are showing two matches tomorrow Stade V Clermont on SS3 then Toulon V Toulouse on SS1 Red Button.

Stade and Clermont on Sky Sports 3 now. Stade down with the first try.

Please god Peceli Yato plays for Fiji in the World Cup. He just ran in a decent try.

Hope to god he doesn't line up for France in a few years.

Clermont doing a Leinster here. 27-7 down at half time and looks like they've gotten another try here to go to 27-19.

This game is nuts. Great entertainment.

La Rochelle leading 6-16 at Bordeaux. If they win then Castres and Lyon are screwed.

Is Toulon v TOulouse being shown on any channel in France?

    Canal+

The Velodrome looks unreal now that the final stand is complete!

    Some matches just finished:

Bordeaux 21-22 La Rochelle - red card for LR's centre Botia (already has 5 YCs this season!)
    Montpellier (BP) 45-17 Lyon
    Oyonnax 24-3 Brive

What a huge result for La Rochelle. Bordeaux's season is coming apart meanwhile Oyonnax continue their run to the playoffs!

Castres go to Grenoble later and are in need of something.

Try saving interception from Michalak, did really well to hold on because it could have been a card otherwise.

And it's a try for Tuisova at the other end!

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

It's all Toulon at the moment. Toulouse are giving away many penalties.

And it's a try for Tuisova at the other end!

Dreadful scramble by Toulouse, they were given a mercy phase when Bastareau trucked it up with a 5 on 1 overlap, and still only got 1 or two defenders across, leaving a lock covering an overlap with two backs.

Brilliant try from Tuisova. Dreadful tackling though.

Why do you need to pay Habana 500k+ plus a year when you have this kid?!

Toulouse reply with a try before half-time. Badly needed.

18-17 now! 48 on the clock.

Gael Fickou went off with a serious knee injury. That could be his World Cup compromised.

    Toulouse snatch it!
    Edit: and another!

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Toulouse win with two late tries! Sensational second half performance. 18-0 down and go on to win 24-34.

Massive win for Noves, this result will get some people off his back for the time being.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Castres just won at Grenoble: 12-16. Wisniewski had a nightmare with the boot for Grenoble. Crucial result for Castres in their fight to remain in the Top14, now two points off safety.

Remaining games are Bordeaux (H), Clermont (H), Toulon (A), Brive (H), Racing Metro (A).

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,075 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

What's happened to Bordeaux all of a sudden? Very disappointing after a brilliant start. That was huge for La Rochelle.

And Toulouse got the win in Toulon - that'll be an important win for Noves.

Castres just won at Grenoble: 12-16.

This sort of result is an example of why I would never want Jackman near Leinster. I've seen him identified a number of times as a potential replacement for MOC. Not a hope I'd want him near the job. Grenoble are all over the place.

The 6N period should be when they do well given they don't have any players called up to any national team. They beat SF and push Racing all the way but, in the same period, are beaten 23-0 by Brive, lose at home to Castres and scrape a 20-18 win at home to Montpellier thanks to a late penalty (sorry, iroced!).

To add to that they have had two collapses at the end of the season in the last two years. So if they fall away again they are being consistent! Their run-in is nasty: Bayonne & Lyon away (two clubs in the relegation scrap) with Toulon, Clermont and Toulouse at home.
