Need advice on returning to fitness

    Hi all,
    Basically, I'm 23, havent got any exercise at all in months and I've never really been properly fit since my teens. My intention is to slowly start going for runs/jogging at night and keep building it up, it's quite likely I'll be playing 5-a-side football once a week soon and I'd like to be fit enough to play at the best of my ability.

    Can anyone offer advice on how to start, ie how often to go for runs and for how long etc?

    Any advice would be great, thanks
