Problem with MyProtein.co.uk

    Folks,

Has anyone had any issues with MyProtein? I ordered Hurricane XS from them and it arrived on Friday afternoon. However one of the pouches had a slit on the bottom, about .5 of an inch long and some powder had leaked out.
I contacted them straight away and sent them the photo they requested.
All I got today was an email saying that they were sorry and they had credited my account with £4.95 which was the cost of postage. Now the Hurricane cost £26.95 so should they not refund that amount or replace the damaged goods? Im not comfortable taking the contents of the package because I dont know how long it was slit open, or who did it.

    G

I'd be contacting them again and asking for a full refund tbh.

Thanks Hanley. I sent them an email back at 6.30 telling them I wanted a full refund. They're stuff seems excellent and the order and delivery process was fast so Id like to keep using them. Just dont want to get screwed!!

A gut in my gym ordered protein but got the wrong flavor and frankly the one he got is vile since he opened it and tried a bit(rather than sending it back) they wont refund the cash, unfortunately this is a problem buying online.
Id rather buy here even if it costs a few quid extra just for customer service and access to teh store

If he didn't open it they would be legally required to take it back if he gets onto them within 7 days.

Rather than go through the hassles and expense of sending it back he thought he'd try it out in teh hope it wouldnt be too bad but he was mistaken. He just gets his protein from town now, theres loads of places to buy great quality protein

Well I opened the box, which was all sealed, and found the bottom of one of the Hurricane packages had a slit on it. I immediately emailed them and answered their questions and sent the photo.

Now I got an email saying they are opening an official investigation with DPD and also a claim, and they will be in touch when its done. But where the hell does that leave me?

Waiting I'm afraid. If you recieved damaged goods, you are entitled to get a replacement, but the problem is that myprotein and DPD now have to go through the hassles of deciding whose fault it is.

Be a bit more forceful and demand they replace the pouch and have their investigation in their own time and sort out whose damaged goods policy is responsible.

    Up sh1t creek without........
thats just one of the reasons I personally buy from a shop i can actually visit,i know the guy i buy from and because im a loyal customer he has given me free stuff and discounts and if your problem occured I know it would havebeen dealt with immediately and i wouldnt have been at a loss.
I wont advertise where i buy but theres loads of places in dublin city centre that do great deals. Some people are of the opinion that they must buy from a foreign shop to get cheaper deals/higher quality protein but u can haggle in shops over here and get just as good deals

Thats not exactly possible down here in Galway though. Id love to be able to walk into a shop and get the same value I get online. This is the only issues Ive ever had buying online.

My order was delivered to an incorrect address but that's the delivery companies fault. :)

Need to ring them in the morning.

Got an email and a phone call from David in MyProtein yesterday. Apologised for the email responses Id gotten and was putting a new pouch in the post to me today.

Problem solved and back to taking my Hurricane XS :)

Different strokes.... I like the mint choc true whey. Better than some of the other protein flavors I've tried in the past. Most of their flavors are actually pretty good as far as protein shakes go. They all do the job anyway. I find the true whey tastes better as well than the impact whey. Little bit more expensive but it tastes nicer and has some extra things in there like probiotics.

Also have placed a few orders with MyProtein and can't fault them. Everything was well priced and good quality. Have recommended them to friends

I've previously had Tubs (when they still did tubs) split open during delivery and was sent replacements for free.

That guaranteed my custom. But I'd be royally pissed off if they just refunded the P&P.

Edit:- I should really start reading the whole thread before replying, glad you got it sorted whitelightrider.

Id have to agree. Few silly emails, but David sorted it all out. Just waiting on the replacement to arrive now.
