Strange page that appears momentarily before site loads

Recently I have noticed that when visiting certain sites e.g. Facebook that a page will briefly flash up in the browser window just before the site loads. It only appears fleetingly but seems to be a face with some text on a blue background. I'm using IE8 and 7 on windows XP. It seems to happen on both machines at home and in the office.

    Any idea what this is?

Can you post a screenshot of this.

An easy way to do a screenshot is explained below, just in case you have never taken one before.
When picture appears on screen press the pause|break button on your keyboard.
The start the microsoft paint program that should be in program accessories.
find the paste option in the edit menu.
click save and save the image to your desktop as blueface.jpg
note, you can save file anywhere an name it as anything, but i gave an example for demo purpose.
Then reply to this and add file blueface.jpg that was saved to your desktop. (use paperclip)
