I read something about this in mens health today and was wondering if anyone here has had it done?

does anyone know any place in Cork doing it or is it something you can get done online.

there is a doc in Bishopstown area that might be able to help .. i've never had it done personally though. dont think online is an option as you need bloods done?

yeah hadn't thought of blood being required.

you don't have any more details about the doc by any chance?

so many versions of this but really its fairly obvious for most people re food types (carbs, proteins and fats - % you should be consuming).

If you are overweight and need to drop fat its likely you are not going to function well on a high (0ver40%) carb intake and if slim you will likely function better on a moderate carb intake.

I know no one who works well on a very high carb intake unless they are an athlete and training 7+ days a week.

The majority of pople need to get more fruit, veg, good fats and clean protein sources into their diet and then their optimal carb levels should be determined by body fat scores.

Regarding what specific foods you might be allergic to is another area

an athlete or a time traveller (more than 7 days a week! ;))...

i'd have high carb intake, sure i'd be 'active' with a mix of cardio (low/mod/hi intensity spread over week) and resistance training, but no more than 4-5 days a week and deffo not an athlete... so maybe it's not as extreme as your suggested training levels...

but i deffo see your point about body fat scores and carb management, most people would do well to clean up their nutrition and eat healthy / appropriately to their ciscumstances...
