Though it is a serious thing, I wouldn't be too worried, If **** does hit the fan im sure someone will buy us and put us back to where we used to be financially and not have debts like we do today.

The comparison was a sound one. You ignoring the reasoning behind it, which was explained to you twice, is another example of you making a fool of yourself in this thread.

It's a stupid comparisons, if the situations are completely different how can the fans reactions to seperate situations be compared.

Ignorance is ignorance, regardless of what the respective parties are ignorant about.

The debt is in hand , This years accounts will be published in the next few weeks. I agree with you though if it did go tits up we would have no problems finding a buyer, the problem is that they would be likely to finace a purchase in the same way a Glazer did.

I don't remember it that way, the leeds situation happened very suddenly I don't think they had time to bury their heads.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the accounts being published on the 28th?

Do you really need everything spoon fed to you? FS. Can you still not understand the comaprison i made? It's been explained to you twice but i'll humour you and i'll try again.

Leeds fans ignored the spiraling debt their club was in despite doing well on the pitch. Remind you of anyone?

Regardless of the differences in where the debt came from or how either are managed can you not see the parts i'm comparing.

Actually just in case you can't i'll simplify again. It's the fans ignoring the debt part.

Oh and once more just incase you've managed to forget it before your next awesome post it's the similarity of the fans ignoring the debt of their clubs.

    The ignoring part.

    Ignoring the debt.

    once more??

The financial plan is in place to ensure that the debt will be decreasing from here on in.

Suddenly ? wtf? they borrowed millions seasons in advance by gambling on qualification of the CL and using that money to pay back the interest and part of the debt, if by months in advance you mean suddenly then ya sure it snuck up on them...

The financial plan hasn't worked since the start of the debt, hence why it's been chopped and changed so fuc-king often.

    Any more wisdom?

Really? First I have heard of that have to say.

I think the actual financial plan here is that debt that the Glaziers are personally responsible for (PIK's) will be decreased from here on in, i.e every bit of United profit is used to pay these off.

However the debt on United could very well be increased, i.e the overdraft being used to sign players. (Smalling and Hernandez could have already started this process)

Thast not going to happen. There is money available to sign players without using the overdraft. Have a read of the bbc article and thread I linked to earlier on Red Cafe they both goes into detail on these points and our current situation.

24 months is actually a long time.

Oh you're choose to ignore the original financial plan, the ones that came with the debt when they took over.

But maybe in fantasy land the debt only started last february. I'm done.

Yes the bond issue which replaced our bank debt, with a bond issue that has an annual interest rate that is higher than our bank debt. So increasing our debt.

I'll read the BBC article, but won't go near redcafe. Thats like going to the a FF convention and asking did FF handle the financial crisis correctly.

No. Is it various ITK's voicing their opinion that the club is fine? Or is it just the BBC article dissected by people?

OK, so the BBC is saying we have a 150 million cash reserve.

Firstly some of this has to be kept as operating capital, but secondly I don't believe the Glaziers are not going to take that money and pay down the PIK's. That is what the BBC article is basing its assumptions on.

A source close to the Glaziers says the won't, well sorry but I refuse anything that comes out of their mouths, or anything thats even remotely linked to coming out their mouths.
