Cardio on a Fri, Sat and Sun- will this work?

    I've recently decided to improve my stamina and have been using the exercise bike in the gym to do so. However its really difficult to get to the gym when I'm working. I usually get off early enough on a Friday so that day is fine, I can go to the gym after work then, but what if I also went to the gym on a Sat and Sun- would this be stupid? They are the only days I can manage so I don't really have much choice, but would my stamina improve if I went on these 3 days? Or are 3 days a week not enough to improve stamina?
