Just so you know; there's a lot of WW2 events in the UK this year. I'm throwing together an Op. Market Garden (specifically based around Col. Frost's 2nd battalion at Arnhem bridge) impression for my Sten (and Bren when I get it), and I can do a passable US infantry impression as it stands with my m1 Garand. I am of course no longer in Ireland so you're on your own for the moment lads ...

Thompsons? Pah! MP40s? Pah!! A WW2softer craves not these things *!

    * GBB variants excluded. Oh f*ck yeah! Gimmeh!

ah yes..knew Snipersighted was the paratrooper but didn't want to name any names :)

Wasn't thinking about this until Puding posted a link to a site with repro allied gear - now I've a set of ODs for US paratrooper on the way. Have 1911 - now all I need is a thompson (easier got here than Lemmings Garand - so you've to start somewhere). And I thought it all stopped with multicam lust...:D:D:D

The site Ambush in Roundwood wanted to get some ww2 airsoft going and has the ground to copy Bastogne/Hurtegen. What you need to do is find out how many guys can actually turn up in ww2 gear. I have 2 in my party...one 101st airborne and the other Fallshrimjager german para with full kit an weapons. I wuld love to do this and make a video.

    Seriously, what is "reasonably priced"?

Considering there are few, if any, other providers of the Lee Enfield - and considering that it's a custom - yes it's reasonably priced. Is it the same price as a Jing Jong whatever? No.

    Thanks.
Allies for me, Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st.
Got pretty much everything from Soldier of Fortune (sofmilitary.com)
Some of the stuff is expensive, but they have EVERYTHING, every little detail to make your outfit look just right! And everything is quality made too and durable.
Oh, and I found them very good to deal with.

Also got one or two pieces from the military store on Cecil St. in Limerick.
By brother got his German helmet and jacket from them.

    you can get a P38 from wgcshop.com :
    http://www.wgcshop.com/

just search 'P38' and you'll get them, not overly bad prices either
