In other news, it made me smile when a player I tried to sign, sacked his agent after talks broke down with him. First time I have seen that happen! Seems it didnt help though because he was a bollix to deal with!

CHELSEA have just sacked the manager louis van gaal, after 12 games in charge and offered me the job!

Must say, I'm tempted but I'd want to bring Doumbia with me!

Chelsea are pretty realistic in mine too. Usually a new manager every season, 18 months at most. They do eventually run out though as Tony Pulis Is now there manager in mine :pac:

He joined Shamrock Rovers in my game around that age too. He obviously declines very quickly. Some fall for him not to even be considered good enough for the League of Ireland :pac:

My assistant manager - He renews players contracts.

He has given half my team a highest earner clause so to my surprise when I signed Balotelli that half my team now earns 110k :eek:

Not sure if he did it but I'm almost sure he gave Fellaini a buy out clause of 15 million. Eh I dont want to sell my best players.

Recently I was looking at my new feeds and Otamendi for Real signs 5 year deal worth 15 million contract renewal.

Next news feed was one of my back up players sign a new deal worth 14 million for 3 years

personally i dont think that is a flawed aspect of transfer system. if napoli have no need to sell, and player doesnt really care about a move they can just lash some ridiculous price to tempt you to buy makes sense i think. the problem with transfers in the game is purely the AI.s dealings

In FM11, I've updated everything so all squads/leagues are updated. Anyway Swansea in season 1 avoid relegation by skin of their teeth(they beat arsenal/chelsea and city in last 3 games to stay up) and norwich were at home to wigan in the last game who had won one match the whole season and lost but anyway sigurdson(sp?) teared it up for them, he got 23 goals in the league, their next closest goalscorer was scott sinclair with 4 goals. anyway the next season it's november and he can't even get into the team, it's not like he started poorly and was dropped, the computer just refuses to play the young player of the year for your poxy small club!! he's played 1 and scored 2

Ha, well I deal with the football side - tactics and signing players while my assistant deals with press conferences, contract renewals and organizing friendlies.

It's a relationship that the chairman is happy with, I'm happy with and most importantly the fans are happy with.
