Someones trying to log into my account

I keep getting emails saying someone is trying (and failing) to log into my account numerous times. Can I get this account deleted or my name changed?

Just a thought but I think this may happen with gmail accounts where the alerts come from gmail.

My boards notification emails are sen to my hotmail account, not gmail.
I have been sent several more of the emails since yesterday?
