Hi - I'd be interested in playing tennis in Herbert Park but fairly flexible on location. I'm mid 30s female at "improver" level.

    Thanks

You should all look at joining a club- membership is open everywhere with the economy the way it is and most joining fees have been waived :)

I've just seen that astro.ie are now running a tennis competition. Myself and wifey signed up! We're pretty poor but tired of playing against each other in Herbert park so gonna test our practice against others!

    Bring it!

    Hi all,
I'm a mid 30's male who just found his tennis racquet in the wardrobe.
I'm a complete novice so I probably won't be much use to any of ye.

Could someone tell me where to find courts in Dublin, preferably on the north side?
Is it necessary to join a club or are there any public courts?
    What are the fees like?

I'd also be interested in the same information for Drogheda.

    PMs welcome.

    S.

    Hi all,

I am a 28 year old intermediate player. I'm already playing once a week but i'm available to play more often. Typically early evening midweek and even on the weekends.

I'm living in Ballsbridge so herbert park is a good option for me. But i'm ok with playing elsewhere too.

Don't hesitate to send me a message if you fancy a friendly game.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hello,

I am looking for a tennis partner in Dublin.
I am 36 years old, and I would say my level is intermediary (though I don't know what it means exactly).
I can play on evenings and on week-ends.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would be interested in having a game of tennis. I play plenty but started in my late twenties (I'm 30 now) so don't have the skills of someone who played from a young age. I would like to try some new opponents though. I find that the courts in St Annes park in Raheny are decent and cheap at 10 euro an hour but I'm happy to go elsewhere if you want. Let me know where and when...

    Rob.

    Hi guys

I am looking for a tennis partner in Dublin. I am 26 years old. I used to play regularly when I was younger but haven't played properly in about 7/8 years so my standard would be (I guess) somewhere between beginner/intermediate.

I can play on evenings and on week-ends. Herbert Park is the most suitable for me but I can travel if needs be.

Please send me a PM if interested.

    Thanks

    Hi everyone,

We're having a social mixed doubles tournament in Mount Pleasant tennis club next Saturday that is open to non-members. You just need to turn up at 3pm & you will be assigned a partner & put with a group of similar standard. You play tennis for couple of hours & then we have a BBQ and happy hour from 6-8pm. It's the perfect opportunity to see if you'd like to take the next step of joining a club where you'll never be stuck for a tennis partner!

    Ciara
