iPhone on 3 network - able to use features such a skype?

    i have an unlocked iphone 3g
    my friends have 3 headsets and use skype and youtube for free
    i want to switch to 3 with my iphone
    will i be able to use the free features?
    if so, how?
    will i have to change the apn and stuff?

    you can't use the free features as far as i know because you need the skype app that's preloaded on to the three.ie phone.

    you'll need to have a data bundle bought from three.ie to available of it. of course all internet browsing within three.ie's walled garden is free but that's pretty rubbish in fairness.

    theres a much easier way, download skype iphone, download 3grestrictor app, google for repo, thats it, run 3grestrictor, it'll ask what app you want to make 3g, click skype,
    now you can run skype over 3g, still uses your data so be careful
