How hard is it to get a 2.1 in tcd summer exams? It seems all I ever here about in college is gaining the all important 2.1

Most people in TCD - in arts, anyway - get 2.1s. (Based on graduation and an admittedly obsessive tendency re: looking through entire results sheets at the end of year, this is.) Not saying that it's easy, though - there's a huge range included in that, from the 'barely scraping a 60 average' to the 'just missed out on a first', and it's not surprising that so many students fall into that category of 'ranging from good to very very good'. If you put in the work (in arts, anyway, she said again), it's a very manageable goal.
