Not sure where to post this as web hosting is closed - mods feel free to move it.

I am supporting a client that are looking into changing hosting providers for both email and website hosting.

My client is insisting on zero downtime - absolutely none.

If I set up 2 outlook accounts on a users machines, one with old host settings, one with new host settings am I right in thinking that users will have 100% uptime?

Same goes for website, the html files etc would be uploaded on both servers.
The idea be that I could then copy emails from old account to new once DNS has fully updated.

Perhaps I am totally wrong here. I'm looking for some advice on this.
