Custom made Gum Shield?

    Can anyone recommend the best place to get a gum shield made at a resonable cost?

    i got mine made up by a dental technician on lombard st. in dublin 2. it's just off of pearse st. at the back of trinity college. i think he charged me 40euro.

    Jesus, that's very reasonable. Mine was closer to 100 as I recall. Fits like a glove though (and the guy did it for me on short notice, in his house, so I may have been paying a premium for that :)).

    Jaaaaysus €100 for a gumshield? Is it a duplex one? I use a shock doctor, never had any problems with it.

    Anyone that says this has never used a custom made one, seriously the difference is unreal.

    Really an extra 40 bucks is worth it for the comfort and peace of mind.

    I paid €85 about nine months ago. He took the mold and had it for me three days later, its my best training investment.
