    hey turbogirl..
No offence but most people who say they have a decent diet tend to need some help with it if i'm honest.
I talk to people every day concerning their diet and i still find it mad that they just dont get the basics.. anyways..

sorry for goin a bit off topic.. i think if you posted an example of your daily diet then we could give you some advice if its needed .
also.. not too veer too far from the original topic but do you do any weights aswell as the cardio you do on the t-mill & crosstrainer? how often do u train?

i say this all because although the vibration plates are a useful device they will not mask any other issues you may be having with regards diet, sleep, stress levels, type of training..
anyways as i said .. give us a bit more detail and we'll try and help out a bit more.

My gym has a really good vibro plate machine, much better anything you are likely to find on ebay, and while it has its place, it certainly doesn't replace lifting weights. It's good for flexability, and rehabbing injuries, and I can feel some effect from doing body weight exercisees on it, but the idea that it can replace a proper workout is a joke.

The thing is, for it to have any effect at all, you have to actually do exercises on it. And the vibrating plate is usually so small that it's next to impossible to get into a good position to do them. You need to do squats, good mornings, press-ups, dips, plank, lunges, calf raise, shoulder press and a lot more. Can you see how you would do them on your machine?

I bought one recently and I think it is brilliant, but it won't work on its own (like nothing ever does) You need to look at your diet (skipping bread, pasta, potatoes and rice really works long term), but this method of exercising will help you break the fat alongside dieting and tone up. I really see results even after one week. I researched online re: vibro training helping weight loss and the conclusion I came to is that it won't be instant, the bigger you are, but it might really help break it down and keep it off longer ( in a period from 6months to a year)

to put things into perspective, you say you use the cross trainer and the treadmill all the time. Say you do 20min good effort on the cross trainer - thatl be an average of approx 200 calories. If you eat a chocolate bar later you will have eaten back ALL the calories burned in those 20min plus more as chocolate bars have more calories. See how important diet can be?

Most people who come on here and proclaim they have a good diet - don't at all.

Best thing to do would be ditch/cut down on all processed cereals, white bread, rice, potatoes, cereal bars, sugar in its many guises, white flour. Stick to whole, unrefined food. By that i mean eat food that are ingredients rather than food that has ingredients so things like meat, fish, oats, dairy, nuts and seeds, nut butters, fresh fruit and veggies. If it has an ingredients list the size of Mt. Everest it's obviously going to be no good for you.

Re. the vibro plate: i find it's good for flexability and massaging out body parts that are sore from hard training sessions. as a weight loss tool i really wouldnt waste my time. Diet is key.
