it's frankly a crime that I didn't get this album earlier....I don't think it was promoted much in the digital domain but nearly fell over when I listened to the vinyl version of this album the other day.

One of those, throw your money at the guy behind the counter before it gets sold to someone else moments.

And here was me thinking Ben Klock was all there really was to Ostgut (when it came to artist albums).

Shedding The Past is an amazing album, was one of my top albums of 2008 and still gets frequent enough play... you should also check out 'Viewpoints Chapter One' on AW Recordings (Arne Weinbergs label who himself produces some quality music). The Viewpoints comp was another favourite of mine from 2008 and again I still play a lot.

I was going through some old cd's a while back and stuck on his Bedrock cd. It's still frikkin awesome!!! From start to finish....... both discs are class.

That cd was from a time when you could admit to being a prog fan without people treating you like a leper. 1998 - 2002 was the golden age for prog........IMO.

Yeah I was wondering the other day when I first listened to this what he thought of making an album like this and what type of split they had in terms of their input... I'd guess 70/30 to Vibert :pac:

Well seeing as I've changed my username to the same as my youtube account, my track for the day is the track that I robbed the name off for my youtube account in the first place... this was one of the very first dance tracks that really sold me into the whole 'rave' scene in the early 90s.

I love Jimmy. He has consistenly produced some quality music, my favourite of which is probably this one and my track of the day from Sasha & Digweed Communicate a decade ago (that makes me feel so old!)

When I noticed that you changed your name from felixdhc, Felix Da Housecat amazingly popped into my head. Here's one of his tunes I havent heard for years... pure 80s sound, yet a recent enough one

This is a really good track! but i would much prefer the Angel Delight Mix
the Original Mix is nice and gentle in a way.

Love the Angel Delight mix too but the original is more special to me as I heard it long before that mix
